Who we are

This site is operated by CaratNet Information Corp. (晟海科技股份有限公司), 6F., No. 45, Ln. 38, Danjin Rd., Tamsui Dist., New Taipei City 251, Taiwan, tax ID 54179571. We process personal data in line with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act.

What we collect

• When you use the contact form: your name, work email, company, country, the service you're interested in, optional budget and timeline, your message, and whether you asked for an NDA.
• When you email or call us: the details you choose to share.
• When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) and the cookies described below.

We don't ask for sensitive data and we don't run advertising or tracking scripts on this site.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
• To manage a project or contract if we work together.
• To keep the site secure and working, for example by blocking spam and abuse.

We don't sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie and a security token that protects forms. They expire when you close your browser or shortly after. The contact form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which may set its own cookies.

Who else handles it

We share data only with providers that help us run the site and our business, under their own confidentiality obligations:

• Website hosting: Linode (Akamai Cloud)
• Email delivery: Postmark and SendGrid
• Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form.
• Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads its typefaces.

Some of these providers store data outside Taiwan. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted after 24 months. Project and invoicing records are kept for as long as Taiwanese tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept for 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, copy, correct, stop using or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. If you don't give us your contact details, we can't answer your enquiry.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
